WRIA 17 Water Supply Storage Alternatives

This project was undertaken as a part of the watershed planning efforts in Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA) 17, which comprises eastern Jefferson and Clallam counties. The goal of the effort was to identify and evaluate potential means by which currently authorized amounts of water could be diverted, captured, recovered, reused, stored, or otherwise utilized more effectively and efficiently.

WRIA 17 Habitat Limiting Factors Analyses

This report is a summary of available information, as of February 2000, about WRIA 17 including water quality, water resource, fisheries habitat and instream flow data. It includes sub-basin descriptions of the Big and Little Qiulcene, Dabob/ Thorndyke, Salmon/ Snow, Chimacum, Ludlow, Quimper, West Sequim Bay, Indian/ Marrowstone and Miller sub-basins. This document was used to develop the watershed management plan.

Chimacum Basin USGS Groundwater Study

A study of the ground-surface water system in the unconsolidated glacial deposits in the Chimacum Basin and four other basins in WRIA 17. Includes detailed geological cross sections of the watershed and delination of where certain rivers and stream either gain or lose flow to groundwater.
